February 3rd, already! Where does the time go?
We've been pretty busy since my last blog. Unfortunately, not so much fun stuff as just taking care of stuff.
We (the boys and I) all got sick last week. More ear infections for Kieran and colds for both Brendan and me. Brendan had also been complaining of hearing "noises" in his ear-and we got in for a hearing test-and he has a blocked tube. So, we go see Dr. Bloom at ENT on Monday to find out what to do. Poor Kieran will be having an ENT consult soon too-he's probably going to be getting tubes as well-he keeps having antibiotic-resistant infections.
We've made more headway on packing stuff up at the house. We're trying to reduce the cost of having the movers move our things (the estimate was around $1600) so we've packed a bunch of the smaller stuff and will move the boxes ourselves-starting TOMORROW! We do our walk-through tomorrow morning and then get our keys. I am so excited! I am so looking forward to having a yard for the boys to play in. I am not so much looking forward to being a little further away, but, well, trade-offs.
